NEW, OHIO-BASED ONLINE BUSINESS CELEBRATES ADOPTION.
Adoption cards and novelties fill an unmet need for adoptive parents.
Cincinnati, OH -- When Gail Huff and her husband wanted to share the wonderful news of their 'new arrival' seven years ago, they discovered that there were no birth announcements suitable for adoptive parents. "125,000 adoptions take place annually in this country, there are three million adoptees, 30 million people are directly touched by adoption and not one company was offering announcements, greeting cards or gifts just for the adoption community," says Mrs. Huff.
The company she created, The Miracle of Adoption Expression Cards, was formed to fill this huge gap. By offering paper announcements, personalized candy bar wrapper announcements, cards and gifts through a home-based mail-order business, Mrs. Huff now has the opportunity to stay home with her long awaited children. "I've found I can also help enhance adoption's image, by offering positive resources for anyone touched by adoption. As I am creating these announcements and cards, I am also communicating how wonderful it is to build your family through adoption."
Adoptive mother Aimee Fleck of Pennsylvania, agrees wholeheartedly. "This was just exactly what I needed. Our son's adoption became final on May 15th, but to everyone else, it seemed like no big deal. I was so disappointed -- I wanted to have a party, but everyone acted like I was nuts. The Miracle of Adoption Expression Cards were the perfect resource."
Huff's line includes embroidered "Celebrate Adoption" T-shirts, sweat shirts, denim shirts and denim baseball hats. In addition, the business has recently expanded with personalized candy bar wrappers for other special occasions like showers, birthdays, graduations, and weddings.
All of the Miracle of Adoption Expression Cards, announcements, personalized candy bar wrappers and gifts can be viewed online at http://www.miracleofadoption.com, or more information is available by calling 1-800-741-0711.

HOME PROTECTION MANUAL RELEASED AS FIFTY WILDFIRES RAGE ACROSS TEN STATES
Practical Disaster Preparation Found in New Booklet
Brattleboro, VT -- While a 65,778-acre fire threatens homes in northeast Nevada, and more than 663,000 acres of forest, brush and ranch land have burned throughout the west in the past two weeks, a how-to resource to help homeowners prepare for disaster was introduced on the Internet.
This photo-illustrated booklet, produced by Safe Haven Home LLC, provides a motivational resource for documenting and protecting possessions and property in case of loss by fire, natural disaster or theft.
Marilyn George, author of "How to Inventory and Document Your Possessions," reminds us, "Disasters can strike anywhere ... anytime ... anyone."
Inspired by her own disastrous fire, George recalls "Most of us believe that misfortune won't find us ... it finds the other person. Preparing for a disaster is not a high priority."
George hopes that her booklet will change that.
Illustrations, supportive text and tips on photographing and videotaping personal property guide readers through five simple steps to document their possessions.
Thomas H. Truex, CFI, President of Phoenix Investigative Services states, " I can't overemphasize the importance of reading this informative booklet. No one can be entirely prepared for the financial and emotional devastation associated with a disastrous loss."
A focus on keeping it simple, a crime safety checklist and over 100 fire prevention safety tips make this a thorough and practical handbook. Available individually or in customized bulk orders, online, by phone or fax, George offers, " It's a must-have for homeowners, tenants, newlyweds, almost everyone -- and a premium gift for companies." In addition, five percent of the proceeds will
go to benefit American Red Cross disaster victims.
With the preparation provided by this booklet and endorsed by insurance, fire and crime prevention industry experts, many people could prevent being caught off guard when disaster strikes.

IF YOU CATCH THE BIG ONE, IT JUST GOT EASIER TO CARRY IT
North Carolina firm patents multi-purpose cart
Henderson, NC - If the thought of multiple trips down a slippery wharf to load the boat up for an early morning fishing excursion makes you want to stay in bed, North Carolina's Camper Products Incorporated (CPI) has exactly what you need to "leave the fight to the fish," according to CEO Aaron Ramsey.
CPI has been manufacturing camping and other aluminum fabricated products for over 30 years, but recently introduced its latest achievement, a product line called Fish-n-Mate.
The Fish~n~Mate, a multi-purpose cart, was designed by a fisherman. It is constructed of corrosion- resistant, high strength aluminum tubing, and comes in two sizes. Even the wheels and bearings are made of fiberglass reinforced nylon, but with inflatable tires, the cart easily moves through soft beach sand, loose gravel or leaves and mud.
The Fish-n-Mate cart will support 200-300 pounds, with the weight perfectly balanced directly over the axle for stability and ease of use. The larger size (called the Senior) can hold a 100 quart cooler, tackle boxes, bait containers and up to eight fishing rods (upright & tangle free). The smaller size meets the passage requirements of most government ferries and fishing piers, and fits inside most SUVs and mini-vans. It will comfortably carry a 48 quart cooler and tackle box, 5 fishing rods and a bait bucket.
"This is the best invention since the car," says a North Carolina surf fisherman. "I have to walk a long way through very heavy sand, and I usually have this cart fully loaded. The only problem is that people keep stopping to talk about my cart -- some even want to 'test-pull' it."
The Fish-n-Mate is not just restricted to usefulness on the local dock. It can also be used for gardening, golf and hunting, and is a versatile companion at outdoor markets and swap meets. Indoors, it holds at least as much as any traditional dolly, and is ideal for stocking shelves and
taking inventory.
CPI also carries a wide range of additional fishing accessories, including sand spikes and flea rakes, and the company is in the development stages of several other products, including the 'Hitch-Mate,' designed to transport the Fish-n-Mate by vehicle.
"Maybe I should buy 10 of these things and throw them on a trailer behind my Suburban to have them ready in case someone tries to mug me for one," says Todd Nelson of Texas. "Do you guys sell alarm systems for these things?"
The company stands by its workmanship, according to Ramsey, inspecting each piece before it ever leaves the factory, and backing the product line with a limited warranty. "We will repair or replace any Fish~n~Mate product that fails to perform to your satisfaction due to material defect or quality of workmanship for up to one full year."
For more information or to place a secure order online, you needn't mug Mr. Nelson. Just visit the CPI website at http://www.fishnmate.com/ or call toll-free to 1-800-545-0202.
